Limo Tour Excursions from Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano
The Shared Shore Excursions Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano leaves from the dock of your ship at 8:00am where you meet one of our English speaking driver-guide waiting for you holding a sign with your name or the Group name on. This excursion combines a visit to the ruins of Pompeii where you stop for about 2 hours, then continuing on to Sorrento and Positano, along the beautiful Amalfi coast.
You drive directly to Pompeii where we highly suggest to have a local licensed English speaking guide with you for a 2 hours private Tour of the excavations: the extra cost is Euro 100 to split among the number of people in the Group. This old Roman city was destroyed and buried by the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 A.D. leaving perfectly preserved baths, theatres, temples, markets and forums that bring you back into the lives of ancient Romans. From Pompeii you drive along the wonderful coastal road to Sorrento enjoying fantastic views of the Bay of Naples and the Island of Capri (that was once attached to Sorrento ). Arriving in the city centre you find the main shopping street, for the locals as well as tourists, with lots of shops (normally open all day everyday in the summer). You can discover the many artisan’s workshops where fine ceramics, cameos and wood inlay invite you to exclusive shopping. Leaving Sorrento you continue with a drive to Positano along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast and, descending the winding country road bordered by lemons, olives and bougainvilleas, you get to the busy central Piazza that is connected to a narrow downhill pathway and a few flights of steps leading to the waterfront passing by the cathedral, shops selling ceramics, lemons, shoes and “Positano fashion” clothing. All streets going to the harbour are for pedestrians only so we drop you off at the Piazza dei Mulini and we meet you back there at the pre-arranged time: just a short walk back uphill in order to return to the minivan. In the afternoon a nice drive back to the port right on time to re-board your ship.
Important Notes:
- please, dress respectfully to visit the holy buildings: cover your knees and shoulders;
- if possible wear or take with you comfortable shoes even if walking is limited, not like coach tours where you have to walk most of the day;
- watch out for your wallet and bags; it is recommended not to wear valuable jewelry.

Please contact us using the form listed below and we will attempt to match you up with another group going to the same location or taking the same tour (and save everyone some money!).
Payment DOES NOT include meals, entrance fees and gratuity.
Note that the driver-guide will not enter sites although giving explanations from the vehicle of what you are seeing. Only Official Licensed Guides are allowed to escort you inside places and, on your request, we can provide such service at an extra cost. The vehicle will accompany you for the entire tour.
Our Shared Tours are available to Groups with a minimum of 4 people up to 7 people to guarantee comfort and flexibility much alike private Tours giving you the opportunity to save some money.
Once a group is created, and a minimum of 4 people has joined it, we will ask for a non refundable down payment to guarantee the service then paying the balance due depending on total number of people on the day of service with cash money. We don’t accept credit cards as a form of payment on the day of service, we only accept cash in Euro and/or US$; if US$ we will give you the exchange rate of the day before the service increased by 5 cents.
Important notice: once you join or create a Group booking the tour with your credit card payment, your Shared Shore Excursion is confirmed with us, even if you do not reach the maximum number of people, and the price per person only depends on the final Group size.
